only steps away from our cabin or take a relaxing
afternoon hike on the miles and
miles of Roosevelt State Park’s
Pine Mountain Trail.
El Capitan is an authentic log cabin
that allows you to truly experience
the rejuvenating
effects of the mountains in an ideal
natural setting. Put in your
favorite movie and relish
these quiet moments in our cabin &
melt away in the soft leather of the
living room couches or
simply nestle by the fireplace with
a cup of hot chocolate. El Cap is
ideal for larger
families enjoying time together or
just friends who want to catch up on
old times. El Cap
greets you with a cabin length front
porch and a beautiful rock fireplace
in the living room.
Entertainment abounds with so many
satellite channels on the living
room TV so you won’t have
to miss a single football game! The
main floor master bedroom reveals an
impressive king size
bed with your own private bath &
single Jacuzzi tub. Also on the main
floor, take in the
scenery on the enlarged screened in
back porch with ample seating for
your entire group.
Enjoy the winter scenery with
beautiful views of the valley from
either of the two back decks.
Whether you’re making something as
simple as peanut butter & jelly or
making a beautiful
spread for 10, this fully equipped
kitchen will handle all of your
cooking needs including a
microwave, coffee maker with
complimentary coffee, & blender!
El Capitan is a three story cabin
with 4 enclosed bedrooms and an open
loft and a bathroom on
each level. On the main floor,
you’ll find the living room/dining
area with a wood burning
rock fireplace, full kitchen, large
TV with satellite, master bedroom
with separate master
bathroom & jacuzzi tub, front porch,
& large screened in back porch. The
top floor contains
an enclosed bedroom with a queen
bed, bathroom with tub, small deck,
and open loft with a
queen bed. Below the main floor are
2 more enclosed bedrooms each with a
queen bed and a
separate bathroom. You’ll also find
on this lower level another mini
kitchen with full
refrigerator, 2 burner eyes,
microwave, coffee maker, & plenty
more pots & pans. Just off of
the lower level kitchen, you’ll find
another deck for total relaxation.
For the outdoor
grilling enthusiast, a charcoal
grill is located just beside the
cabin’s front porch.
