We're in such a great location due to the fact that we're completely surrounded by the pristine 10,000 acre Roosevelt State Park, yet we're only a few minutes drive to Callaway Gardens, the town of Pine Mountain, and Warm Springs...not to mention, we're on top of the mountain, so it's just a beautiful area. The central location of the property provides easy access to all of the areas' major attractions and cities, yet still gives the feeling of complete privacy with no distractions. We have several options that work out for groups of all sizes. So whether you want individual rooms and a centrally located meeting space with the look & feel of a cabin or you'd like several cabins with all the amenities of home nestled close together, we've got you covered!
Our Lodge works out extremely well for groups of up to 40 people. With a central meeting room, it's easy for your guests to spend time together but then also just walk right on over to their room for some peace and quiet. Our Lodge Rooms are hotel-type rooms located approximately 1 mile from our check-in office (which is where the Chapel & pool are also located) but are much cozier than a standard hotel. They have wooden wall interiors & a back porch with rocking chairs plus some rooms even have wood-burning fireplaces! The Lodge is situated on top of Pine Mountain overlooking the valley (some rooms have better views than others). These rooms are all entered from the outside via the covered porches. The rooms sleep between 2 and 4 guests depending on the room type and they're situated on 3 different levels.
Lodge Room amenities: each room has a private full bathroom, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, cable TV, rocking chairs on the back porch, complimentary WIFI (if for some reason the complimentary WIFI is not working due to equipment malfunctions or any other unforeseeable malfunctions, there is complimentary WIFI available in our lobby/check-in office), and there are 2 shared charcoal grills behind the Lodge on the ground level. To receive discounts, a 2 night minimum applies, however discounts are not valid during holidays. The central meeting room has tables and chairs set up for 40 people with red/white checkered tablecloths. It has a full kitchen (refrigerator, stove, kitchen sink, pots/pans), separate bathroom, wood-burning rock fireplace (seasonal use only), and cable TV with a DVD player. This room has outside access to front & back porches as well as inside access to two lodge rooms by an indoor stairway leading to the 2nd level. We also have plenty of picnic tables and 2 charcoal grills for those grilling enthusiasts. If you are interested in the meeting room along with your lodge rooms, you will need to book all 17 rooms. We completely understand that every group who stays here is here to have a good time. After all, it's your vacation! However we also understand that other guests are here for that same reason. When 80% of the building is your group, and the other 20% don't know you, it could end up being an uncomfortable situation for both parties. So, we like to make it as carefree as possible for everyone so by the time you get here, all you need to worry about is how much relaxing you want to do! And even if it happens to be an unlucky trip where you end up getting bad weather, the porches are all covered, so everyone can still spend time in the great outdoors and stay dry!
Our log cabins include a jacuzzi tub (some even have hot tubs!), fully equipped kitchen, dining room & living room with a wood-burning rock fireplace (gas fireplaces - select cabins only), cable TV, charcoal grill outside, and front & back porches. These homeowners spend time making these cabins as comfortable and well-appointed for you as they can possibly be because after all, they enjoy spending time in them too! The Log Cabins work out well for guests who want to gather together but instead of having just one hotel room, they have all the amenities of home and plenty of space to spread out and relax. They are the perfect solution for your "home away from home" feeling. We can recommend several cabins within close proximity to one another so your friends & family will feel comfortable just walking in between the cabins. For families who need a little more space, consider adding the Clubhouse to your lodging so you have one place for everyone to gather for meals. This building is overlooking our scenic swimming pool (seasonal use only, not heated) with mountain views plus it's within walking distance to our office, chapel, and many cabins. In order to rent this building, you must have at least 5 cabins booked for the same time period. There is limited parking access for this building (max of 15 vehicles). You can rent it for a few hours or overnight to have use of it during your entire stay. You'll have tables and chairs (for a max of 80 guests), central air & heat, 2 bathrooms, approximately 2000 square feet. We do allow groups to use our Log Chapel at no charge but only when there are no weddings. NOTE: the Chapel cannot be used for wedding ceremonies. For Weddings, you must go through the wedding coordinator. Since this is a no charge situation, we cannot guarantee that your group will be able to reserve it until we get closer to the arrival date (approximately 1 week out). This is simply because weddings have priority. This is a great option for marriage retreats and church gatherings. The Chapel was constructed of Georgia pine and natural rock with beautiful stained glass windows.
