Callaway Gardens

Distance: Only a 7 scenic mile drive down the mountain.


Visit Callaway Gardens and see what all they have to offer. Attractions include the Cecil D. Butterfly Center, Birds of Prey Show, biking trails, world class golf, and other fantastic seasonal events.




Wild Animal Safari Park

Roosevelt State Park

Distance: Mountain Top Inn is surrounded by FDR State Park.


Hikers will enjoy the scenic trails in Georgia's largest state park, especially the 23-mile Pine Mountain Trail, which winds through a mix of hardwoods.  The nearby waterfall hike is a staff favorite.

FDR's Little White House (State Historic Site)
